Health is not what we’re taught it is. It is NOT the absence of pain. We don’t get to health through a pills or potions. It is not a straight mechanical road from point A to point B. Health is vital, vitality, vitalistic. Health IS optimal physical, mental and social well-being. We get there through processes; processes that nurture us in ongoing ways and processes that bath us in the Foundations of Health © . There are five of these processes: Diet, Rest, Exercise, Alignment, and Mental wellness. The acronym is DREAM.
Applying these foundations on a daily basis is a sure way to move in the direction of health. When we make better choices, good things follow. So, we wake up and remember DREAM. My morning self-talk might be this. “Okay, what am I going to do to improve my diet today?
